The Manali is located in the picturesque nooks of the Himalayas. It is also the most frequented hill station in India. Manali is connected to the other higher reaches in Ladakh and Spiti. This bustling town derives a major part of its economy from tourism. The tourists come here to enjoy the spectacular views of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal range. Places to visit in Manali

Hadimba Devi Temple

 The temple is associated with the times of Mahabharata which pays respect to the demon goddess Hadimba. It is made on the traditional architecture of Himachal Pradesh. 

 Manu Temple

 The temple is very old, made of stone. It is dedicated to the writer of Manusmriti. The temple is just 3 km from the main town. 

 Manali Sanctuary

 Manali sanctuary is home to several rare species of animals and plants. Himalayan wildlife flourishes in the sanctuary and visitors can spot some of the endangered species as well. 

 Mall Road

 Manali Mall Road and the Old Market is a great place to get around. The market sells several beautiful pieces of handicraft and Himachali local crafts. 

 Naggar Castle

 Naggar Castle is the royal house of the king of Manali. It is 21 km from Manali. 

 Vashisht Temple

 Vashisht Temple is a great place for having hot water baths. It is set at the banks of Beas River and has a several centuries old temple. 

 Tibetan Monasteries

 Manali has several monasteries in and around its surrounding hills. These monasteries also conduct meditation batches and provide insight into Buddhism.

There are several Volvo buses available from Delhi and Chandigarh for Manali.

 National Highways are well connected to Amritsar and Pathankot.

 The Spiti Circuit originates from Manali and ends at Reckong Peo. 

 The road to Leh goes through Rohtang Pass in Manali.

 Manali is a great place for adventure and sports such as skiing, river rafting, paragliding, rock climbing, river crossing, etc. Manali also hosts several paragliding competitions.
